SIEMENS NX:
- The Initial concepts for the nose landing gear, considering different configurations, materials, and mechanisms to meet performance and safety objectives were generated in OpenVSP
- A 3D CAD model of the nose landing gear, which includes the nose gear strut, wheel assembly, shock absorber, and associated components, was designed and integrated with the aircraft’s structure, ensuring proper alignment, compatibility, and ease of installation.
- Detailed CAD drawings and documentation for manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance, including specifications, tolerances, and manufacturing guidelines were generated.
Designing a nose landing gear in Siemens NX involved a multidisciplinary approach, considering structural, mechanical, aerodynamic, and safety aspects. It required close collaboration with engineering teams and adherence to industry standards to ensure the landing gear’s safety, reliability, and compliance with aviation regulations
